How to Make a Difference

Generous support from alumni, parents, friends, and institutional partners such as corporations and private foundations enables the Friedman School to provide groundbreaking research, educate future leaders, and continue to have an impact on key health policies in the United States and abroad.

As a young school with a dedicated but small alumni base, the Friedman School encourages and deeply appreciates participation from donors at all levels and welcomes multi-year contributions. As part of Tufts University's Beyond Boundaries campaign, the school seeks to markedly expand its base of support and commitment.

Gifts to the Friedman School may be earmarked toward annual unrestricted support through the Annual Fund or toward restricted endowment funds, such as financial aid, faculty professorships, and research initiatives. Gifts to the endowment are permanent, providing a lasting tribute in honor of an individual donor's beliefs and values. Tufts University's endowment funds are managed carefully for both income and growth and provide the bedrock for continued excellence and long-term stability.

Contact the Office of Development and Alumni Relations to learn more about how you can make a difference at the Friedman School.

In Their Own Words

"It's going to take a lot of hard work to heal my country (Uganda). But, through my studies at Tufts, I learned to see the conflict from multiple perspectives…As the peace process goes on, I want to deepen my knowledge, and use it to help other countries."
