For over 25 years, the Friedman School has set the standard for leadership, sparking a new dialogue about nutrition and health. The school has taken the lead by planting the seeds of a vision for nutrition that has taken root and now bears fruit.
But our work has only just begun. The nutritional landscape is constantly changing—from heightened concerns about childhood obesity and aging-related dietary needs to growing awareness of the effects of biotechnology and sustainable agriculture on our food and environment. Contributing to a greater understanding of these changes and their health implications requires a foundation for true and lasting excellence.
After careful strategic planning, the Friedman School has established a $50 million goal for Beyond Boundaries: The Campaign for Tufts. This university-wide campaign aims to make Tufts stronger, more accessible, and even more dynamic in the years ahead.
The Friedman School’s campaign goals involve increased support for financial aid, faculty, research, and areas of greatest need. Only by expanding the endowment in these critical areas will the school be able to prepare for new harvests by planting the seeds necessary for the next generation of nutrition leaders.
The Friedman School stands ready to forge new collaborations, expand outreach and support, and attract world-class faculty and students. We invite you to join us in building an even stronger foundation for our future.
